Harold Grading

I'm not entirely sure if we accomplished all of what we wanted this week but we did get some footage filmed. I did a bit of script writing which is good because we need to put all of our footage together soon. We need to talk with people at the assembly tomorrow about getting with us about interviews because we need some for students and ill check with teacher that we have on our list to see if they'd like to be interviewed. so i beleive an 8 maybe is good.

YEAAAH TWO HOUR PIGGY BACK RIDE, GIDDY UP GENE (self evaluation 11/4/11)

Alrighty then. This week we captured the old trailer buildings (THE ORGINAL INTERNATIONAL!!!!:O) in all their faded glamour and glory. We also went around the rest of Sharpstown as well, so who knows, we may actually use this footage( of the rest of Sharpstown that is, the trailer buildings we'll use definitely). I also caught the ABS-olutely PEC-tacular Senior Men auction. Just kidding, they're not ,by any definition, attractive enough to warrant such clever puns. But I did record it. Shout out to Zenon Trujillo and Cindy Mondragon for doing great jobs as the MC's. Oh and the senior men I guess. Oh right, my grade. I deserve a 9 for all my hard work. I bled.

Grading...sigh (Harold) lawl!

This week was more slow than anything we didnt really get much done except for filming the old campus and the auction. I did do some script writing, but I realized Tuesday morning that i had missed a chance to catch something that Monday evening after school. But in due time I'll "Get 'er done" as Larry the Cable guy would say. Hmm. That guy needs to put cable into my dining room. Well going back to my point I think an 8 and a half is suitable for my performance this week.

another one of these things

I believe a ten is deserved for this week, after all we were hard at work on this trailer. I actually enjoyed editing the trailer, and working with Power Director. I'm actually pretty proud of the final product. PEACE HOMIES.

Grading (Harold)

Okay 10 is what i think i should have because i help re-edit the research paper, help perfect the trailer and i uploaded both to this blog

One of these things (10/14)

Contrary to popular belief, I do my work. Fantastic, no? The research paper was completed, and these are the sections I wrote myself: Most of the intro, What is Sharpstown International, How to Make a Documentary, and editing and adding to everything over all. All about three pages of work. You're welcome. Everybody. Oh and I think I deserve a 9 for my diligent work (truly, it was
!).

Grading (Harold)

This week i believe my pure genius deserves a 10, i believe this grade is necessary because my genius and i order the adapter and it should be here by Friday or by Monday. Also my genius and i completed 4 pages of research paper in a mere 5 minutes!!! (probably not true, it all depends on what you believe if you believe in fairies, goblins, and monkeys that can dance bachata then you should believe this because my genius tells you it is sensible)

Grading (Harold)

This week i believe i deserve a 8 at the most, we got the cord required to convert DV files from our tape film camcorder into an actual video file on the computer however the internet failed to inform us that there is an adapter required to link it to the computer.

Where are our people????

It has come to our attention that no student has made an attempt to reply to our previous blog about entries to the documentary. We do recall a lot of personal opinions being said when we produced the idea to the class but seniors you have yet to come through tough we have made attempts to get you to participate. Please advise that we need to work as a team to recap these memories, we need interviews with you. Though Jared and I are to produce the final product we need your assistance as classmates and as friends to help us in-between the time of the Start and Finish. Thus for we shall send out flyers Monday to remind the Seniors (and tell the Juniors) about our proposition. We hope to have set up more student interviews by this time next week so we can start more of our script and production. THANK YOU ALL!

Sincerely,
-YO MASTAHS!!!!! (Harold Austin and Jared Reyes)

Grading (Harold)

THis week i was out sick for the first class so for the overall week i give myself another 7 because i came back and started working on the storyboard (which is relatively hard for a documentary)

Grading (Harold)

Well this week i would have to give myself a 7, because nothing was done on Tuesday due to me coming late to school and Thursday little was done for us to catch up with the rest of the class

GRADING (Harold)

Okay so this week i believe an 8 is the grade for me because due to a change of actions i wasn't able to start any script writing and i wont blame anyone for that. Even though our interview dates were changed we still managed to get great coverage of the school's history and views of where the school is going I'm not sure what the title is going to be even though we've discussed it with Ms. Devaney and amongst ourselves. We still have a lot of time before the final product so we'll try and make it as we go. I was thinking on the lines of "International: Where Its Headed" or something like that.

MESSAGE TO OUR PEOPLES!

If you want to be considered for a student interview then hit up our site kids.

Please note that everyone will not be interviewed and the anger should not be taken up with Harold or Jared, but with the board of YOUR FACE! Yes Y.O.U.R F.A.C.E: Your Obsolete Useless Request Futilely Asked Concerning Entries!

Thank You and Good Day. I SAID GOOD DAY!

OH MY GOTHS OUR FIRST INTERVIEWS!!!!!:D LAWWWWLLL

So yesterday was the first time we filmed anything at all, and it just so happened to be Mr.Yu's and Mrs. Kapral's interviews. Mr. Yu's was pretty fantastic. He really caught the nature of the documentary in his answering of the questions, fully articulating his sentiments and ideals and what not. Birdman get money, brrrr. Anyway Mrs. Kapral did pretty well too, and interestingly enough prefers pumpkin flavored coffee. Zoidberg away!!!
WOOP-WOOPWOOOPWOOPWOOP

Interviews

So our first filmed interviews. It went relatively well, Mr.Yu and Mrs. Kapral were great at the interviews and exhibited great professionalism and answered the questions beyond our expectations.

Mock Interview

Today we conducted a mock interview with Mrs. Kapral. We gained a good feel for camera operation and tested numerous angles. And had a healthy discussion about where the subject should face during the interview. We were pleased to find out that a second camera may be used for two simultaneous close ups in our interviews. Thanks to the generosity of our good friend Antonio "Tony" Barrera, we will now be in possession of two cameras which will give us twice the leeway to get things done. We are also continuing our unsuccessful progress of trying to get an interview with Mr. Yu

yo yo yo yo!!!!!

So Jared and I have proposed the following experiment that we think people will enjoy. Our plan initially is to make a Documentary, as you all may know by now. However the question is to make a Documentary about what? Well we had a certain inspiration to create a Documentary about International.
